Steam gave its Featured Win spotlight to a $9.14 anime-streaming simulator called My Waifu’s Stream is Going Viral ‼️😳, and the game’s tiny audience could not be happier.

Fifty-seven players have reviewed it. Fifty-six left a thumbs-up. That’s 98% Very Positive on a title from developer Lewd Star that describes itself as a “narrative-driven webcam simulator with dating sim elements and a light NTR vibe.” You manage your girlfriend’s streaming career, react to donations, and watch fame strain the relationship. It’s 18+, it launched April 11, and it’s currently on sale at 39% off its $14.99 list price.

The reviews are ambiguous in a way that feels intentional. One player with half an hour logged wrote, “It’s very unclear whether I should keep playing the game or take a break.” Another called it “An excellent guide for boosting your streaming channel.” The sole negative review, from someone who put in four hours, countered: “Art is okay but there is very little of it, it is barealy a game mostly just stupid clicker with very minimal story.”

The game peaked at 302 concurrent players all-time according to Steam tracking data, and sits around 200 right now. Roughly 2,600 wishlists worldwide, per Raijin.gg — with Russia driving the highest share of demand. This isn’t charting because it’s moving serious units. It’s charting because Steam’s Featured Win slot isn’t always about the biggest game.

That’s the Steam ecosystem in a nutshell. A title most people will never hear of gets storefront real estate usually reserved for games with marketing budgets, and the 200 people playing it tonight are having a perfectly good time. The algorithm giveth, and the algorithm apparently has a type.
